When it comes to the Warframe community, debates can be sparked almost randomly over random topics (like most communities, I guess). Whether it is the ongoing debate over Valkyr’s upcoming rework, or the relationship dynamics between the upcoming Oraxia, Titania and Oberon (yes this is a real thing). But one interesting topic I noticed when browsing the game’s subreddit was a recurring topic concerning Riven Slivers. More importantly, their use in the ever expanding endgame.
Riven Slivers are a rare drop from Eximus units in Warframe. This rare resource can then be traded to Paladino in Iron Wake for an assortment of goodies. You can either buy Kuva, Credits, or simply veiled Riven mods. Suffice it to say, they can offer some good things to most players. However, if you play the game for a while you end up with an excess. I am currently sitting at over 900 Riven Slivers myself after the weekly reset, and cannot do more with them. But why is that?

Well that is because you can only really use about 40 per week due to a cap on the amount of each of Paladino’s offerings you can buy. This has sparked on an ongoing debate, with various changes the community, myself included, would like to see. In two posts I read through, the commenters had a lot of great ideas, and they include the following.
Using Riven Slivers for the Helminth
This has been a request in multiple posts on the Warframe subreddit. Dating all the way back to last year and beyond. While it does read like a joke when people talk about it, there could be a unique use case for them. With the introduction of Archon Shards, the Helminth and his bile tax to remove them for build experimentation has become nefarious. I think it would be cool to see Riven Slivers be used for Bile, or as a way to reset the Helminths hunger.
Relic Pack Purchases
While there are many, and I mean many, ways to buy relic packs, including Teshin’s Steel Path offerings. I think Paladino could sell relic packs in a similar way. With Yareli Prime on the way, and every player potentially still not having Steel Path unlocked, this could be a no brainer!
Forma Blueprints?
Without doing relic runs on public sessions in Warframe, Forma blueprints are really hard to acquire. Even worse they take 23 real time hours to build even when you do get them. So, why not let Paladino sell one or two of these a week in her store. Acrithis in Duviri can sell these blueprints, so it could be a very fair change to do.
Rotation of Inventory like Steel Path Offerings in Warframe
I did not see this mentioned (or if it was, it’s buried amongst other comments), but it could be a good solution. A handful of Steel Path offerings are randomized and can be purchased once a week, similar to everything in Paladino’s store. What I think would be a great idea is to directly lift this approach for Paladino’s store. Where you can not only buy the statis riven mods, and kuva. But also a few new goodies a heavier price. Such as fully built Forma bundles, or Forma blueprints. As well as Endo, Umbral Forma blueprints, and maybe a Riven cipher for good measure.
While Digital Extremes is cooking a lot of new and exciting content. Such as the upcoming Isleweaver, I think it would be a boon to the hardcore playerbase to have more ways to spend their Riven Slivers. Sure, it is not an essential feature and one that most players do not know about. But throwing the players that have hundreds or thousands stockpiled a bone would be a nice quality-of-life change.
