Both Caliban Prime and the Vadarya Prime have been out in Warframe for a handful of days. While Caliban Prime can be described as “new look, same great taste”, the same cannot be said for Vadarya Prime. This is because Vadarya is a new sniper introduced in this Prime Access. When it came out, there was an interesting bug that allowed its described lightning bolt strikes to continuously activate when mixed with blast damage. Understandably, this has been fixed, but it left the gun in a strange state. That is, until I got around to playing with a unique combo for it and Caliban.

The build I went for with Vadarya and Caliban in Warframe is very specific and will need multiple forma and a specific subsume to pull off. Involving Gas, Critical, and Arcane Crepuscular.
Gas/Critical Build for Vadarya and Caliban Prime in Warframe
Let’s start with the Vadarya Prime, as I am a big fan of the Gas status effect since its buff last year:

This is, of course, a very standard critical loadout for the Vadarya Prime. With all of the usual fixings, including Hunter Munitions, Primary Deadhead, and throwing in Primary Acuity for more weak point damage and critical chance. Where things get pretty crazy is when you combine the loadout I have for Caliban Prime:

The secret sauce lies in the addition of Evade from Cyte-09 and Arcane Crepuscular. Mixing these 2 in with the power strength and using Sentient Wrath on enemies creates a nasty damage output with area-of-effect and slash from Hunter Munitions that even melts Necramechs on Steel Path in the Entrati Labs. Below is just a sample from 2 shots using the tried and true heavy gunner eximus test in the simulacrum:

Considering the lightning acts as another one or two hits. It also has a chance to proc the slash or gas status effect. Creating a nice and deadly combo for every mission type in Warframe, I have tried so far.
Finally, for Caliban, below are the Archon Shards I picked for him. These are solely for flavor and can be swapped out for anything else.
