Wizards of the Coast revealed several new Magic: The Gathering collaborations with Marvel during New York Comic Con 2026. Alongside the new set, Wizards of the Coast also revealed additional Secret Lair collaborations and an exclusive promotional card tied to Avengers: Doomsday.

Marvel: Darkhold Destiny Introduces an Original Story

Wizards of the Coast and Marvel have worked together to create a new narrative that combines Marvel’s characters and mythology with the gameplay and design philosophy of Magic: The Gathering. Additionally, a companion comic book will explore the story further. The first chapter will receive a digital release, while a physical edition is scheduled for the week of the set’s April 7, 2027, launch.

Doctor Doom Takes Center Stage in Doomsdrop
