Baldur’s Gate 3 Will Be Coming To Early Access on PC and Stadia in August 2020

Baldur’s Gate 3 was one of the biggest surprise announcements of E3 2019. It was revealed at the Stadia conference to the shock of many. With the even bigger surprise being that Larian Studios the creative minds behind Divinity Original Sin would be heading the project.  Larian Studios had built a reputation on making one of the best RPG’s of this generation with Divinity Original Sin II. It seemed like a match made in heaven. The only question remained was, when could this game be releasing? Today, we got a better idea of when we will get our hands on the game.

Today, at the Guerrilla Collective Livestream we got another look at Baldur’s Gate 3. Along with this new footage, we also shockingly got a release window for the game. As per Larian Studios community update, they are planning to release the game to early access in August 2020. It is important to note that they state that this date is subject to change. With the state of the world due to Covid-19, it is hard for many developers to 100% lock in a date. However, for fans of the long-running franchise this means that in a few months they could get their first experience with Baldur’s Gate 3. Which for people like myself, is insanely exciting. We cannot wait to find out more about the game leading up to its launch into early access.
