Marvel’s Phase 4 Coming to 2021: TV Shows

For the last year, Marvel fans haven’t had any new content. Phase 4 was set to start before everything was pushed back. Now that it’s 2021 here is a list of what’s coming. This article includes the shows that will be coming to Disney+.

Marvels: Legends – January 8th

This new show will give viewers a better glance at some of their favorite MCU characters. The first two episodes will revolve around Vision and Wanda. These first two episodes are available right now. Each episode runs around six to seven minutes.

WandaVision – January 15th

Starting on January 15th fans will be getting WandaVision. This nine-episode show will be set after the events of Avengers: Endgame. This is the show that will kick off Marvel’s Phase 4. It will only be available to watch on Disney+. Here is the second trailer that was released last year. From everything that shows Wanda seems to be having some issues with her powers after the death of Vision.

 

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier – March 16th

Coming to viewers in March on Disney+. What happens to Captain America after he retires? Who will carry on that mantle? These are just some of the questions fans hope to have answered in the upcoming show The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. This show will also follow the events of Avengers: Endgame. Look for it on March 16th right after WandaVision ends its first season.

At this moment it looks like the series will only have six episodes. It’s not known if multiple seasons will be brought to the streaming service.

 

Loki – May 2021

Everyone’s favorite trouble maker has gotten his own show. We all know that the original Loki died at the hands of Thanos. This story follows the Loki that was freed himself after the Avengers time traveled. It seems that he will have some trouble ahead of him as he has to deal with time police. The show is rumored to already have been approved for a second season.

What If…? – Summer 2021

Marvel Comics had a series called What If…? that would go change the stories we knew and loved. Coming later in 2021 fans will be able to see what would happen to Peggy Carter if she became a super-soldier. This is the first animated show that will be fitting into Phase 4. Look for episodes to start later this Summer.

 

 

Ms. Marvel – 2021

Ms. Marvel is a fairly new character, she first appeared in Captain Marvel #14-August 2013. Her powers in the comics come from the Terrigen Mist. It is going to be interesting to see how she gets her powers in the show. She’s also a huge fan of Captain Marvel, in fact she takes her name from Carol Danvers alter ego. This show doesn’t have a release date and will be released later this year.

Hawkeye – 2021

Everyone’s favorite archer gets his own show. While we don’t have a release date or story information. We do know that Jeremy Renner will return as Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop. Look for this show later this year.

These are just the shows that are coming to this year in Phase 4. One of the shows that doesn’t have a place is the animated M.O.D.O.K. that will be coming to Hulu. That show features Patton Oswalt as the title character.
