Super Mario Bros 35 is Leaving Soon
This week marks the last time you will be able to play two Switch titles. Super Mario Bros 35 is one of two games that will no longer be available to enjoy after March 31st, 2021.
Since October, players have been able to try to compete in a Battle Royal style game on the Nintendo Switch. Super Mario Bros 35 pits players against each other on the same level. As players complete part of the level, they send more enemies to other players. As a result, this usually increases the chance to be the last player standing. This “free” game will be leaving on March 31st.
What I mean by free is that Super Mario Bros 35 needs the Nintendo Online Service to work. It is an online game that will take up a small amount of space on the Nintendo Switch.
The second game that is leaving is a classic title. This game doesn’t need an online service to play. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light was released to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the franchise. This classic game will also leave on March 31. The price is extremely reasonable at $5.99 to download.
Play Them Before You Can’t
Originally released on the Famicom, this is the first time this title has been released in North America. Players who haven’t heard of this title can take a look at the description from the Nintendo website.
From defending the kingdom of Talys to facing off against the titular Shadow Dragon, this scrappy hero must be poised to take on any challenge. Luckily, he has a capable group of allies at his side: Tiki, Minerva, the Whitewing Sisters, and more!
See Marth’s humble beginnings from a refugee in Talys to the hero of Archanea!
Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light will still be able to download if you purchased the game. Even after March 31st, that game is yours to enjoy. Take a moment and bookmark Lords of Gaming. We have all of your gaming and entertainment needs.
