As the holiday season gets closer and closer, this means the time of AAA releases is drawing closer and closer. For the past few weeks, Call of Duty fans have been playtesting Call of Duty: Vanguard through its handful of weekend betas. While Halo Infinite fans just finished the first of a series of two test flights for the upcoming release from 343. There remains one more shooter coming out this year that fans are eager to get their hands on. Battlefield 2042 received a short delay of a month just a few weeks ago, which of course delayed the game’s beta as well. However, we learned today when we will be able to get our hands on the highly anticipated shooter.
Today via an announcement from the official Battlefield Twitter account, the official beta dates for Battlefield are now officially set in stone. On October 6th and 7th EA Play members and players who have preordered Battlefield 2042 will be able to access an early version of the beta. While on October 8th and 9th the beta will be open to all players on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC with preloads going live on October 5th. This will give many players a glimpse of what to expect when the game releases on November 19th, 2021. We are looking forward to getting hands-on with Battlefield 2042, and to see what Dice has done to improve on the series since Battlefield V.
