Tron Identity is a new game from Blithell Games. Only a short teaser was shown. However, the developers gave a press release revealing more details. This title is a detective mystery. Bithell Games names the gameplay akin to a visual novel. Players will follow Query’s adventure to uncover a grave crime in the Grid. Stay tuned for more details on Tron Identity in 2023.
Disney Illusion Island
Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald star in a new 2D platformer. Disney Illusion Island features the “Fab Four” as they adventure across Monoth. Additionally, each character has unique mechanics to transverse the world. The game supports up to four-player local and online co-op. Lastly, Disney Illusion Island launches exclusively for the Nintendo Switch sometime in 2023.
Disney Speedstorm
Racers, start your engines. The Disney and Marvel Games showcases brought a new trailer for Disney Speedstorm. Monsters Inc. was the focus. The trailer featured new characters from the franchise and its own themed track. Additionally, each racer showcased their own personality throughout the trailer. The game was initially set to release this past summer. However, a new release date has not been established.
Disney Mirrorverse
The hit mobile RPG is bringing new characters this fall. Popular Disney Villians are invading Disney Mirrorverse. However, they may be players’ only hope to survive. Prepare to add some villainy to your team with Ursula, Maleficent, Oogie Boogie, and more later this fall.
Disney Dreamlight Valley
Lastly, the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase delivered a new update trailer for Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is the new life sim/adventure game by Gameloft. The game was released in early access earlier this week. Players can explore their valleys and interact with popular Disney and Pixar icons.
Additionally, Toy Story will be a new realm joining the game. Buzz and Woody were featured in the trailer along with new fashion styles for your avatar. However, another surprise announcement from Gameloft will take priority. In an interview with IGN, the lead producer revealed Scar from The Lion King will join the valley before Buzz and Woody. Similar to Ursula, he will play a major role in helping your avatar uncover the mystery behind the Forgetting.
The game has already teased a plethora of potential new crossovers inside the Dreamlight Castle. Likewise, Disney has plenty of treats in its wheelhouse to pull from. Players can hop in on the fun for free on Xbox Gamepass or buy a founder’s pack on PC or any console platform. The game will launch free to play in 2023.
