Players must purchase the grenades, aspects, and fragments. The aspects introduced within the campaign must be purchased first. Furthermore, unlocking them does not require glimmer. Instead, players need Strand Fragments. This is a new currency introduced by Lightfall. 

They are easy to come by. Simply kill enemies and complete activities within Neomuna while Strand is equipped. On Thursday, Bungie announced their plans to remove the time gate on Strand’s unlocks. Therefore, players can purchase every fragment now within the game. Be sure to meditate at the pond after purchasing any unlocks.
