Wo Long Boss Guide – Embodiment of Demonic Qi Strategy
Yu Li has merged with the dragon he has been using to cause chaos during the entire game. This fight can be hard because he is flying and is always going from one side of the map to the next. The issue is not speed but the opportunity to do damage. Because the Embodiment of Demonic Qi is flying and is able to cover so much distance on the battlefield so quickly.
The best thing you can do is wait for him to do the multiple-sword attack ability. After the Embodiment of Demonic Qi pulls off the sword attack, he stays still for a few moments. You can hit him a few times without issue. However, for the most part, you just hit him when you can and wait for his unblockable attacks to stagger him and do some fatal blows to him.
Try your best to avoid elemental attacks as much as you possibly can. Because when he starts using elemental attacks while he is moving around, things get hectic and fast. Learn the timing of his attacks and take him out as fast as you possibly can. The only unblockable attack that you should avoid is the one he does flying through the battlefield on his back. because its hard to get the timing down right. But the other two unblockable attacks are simple to parry.
- Basic Attacks/Patterns
- Sword attack
- Teleports a lot
- Makes clones and they teleport
- Poison AOEs
- Ice daggers (multiple different styles)
- Earth AOE/Attacks
- Lightning Attacks
- Unblockable Attacks
- Grab move
- Fireball move
- Dash move
Wo Long Boss Guide – Blindfolded Boy Strategy
The final boss is a tougher Yu Li fight as he has taken over the Blindfolded Boy from the start of the game. He is a tough fighter that uses speed and his spells to catch you off guard. Yu Li teleport move was a weakness but Blindfolded boy does not stagger as much so that is not really useful here but you can still get a few hits. This boss will have a red aura in the middle of the map and change elements he uses so pay attention. His unblockable attacks will do massive damage. It is also difficult to pick out the real Blindfolded boy as he makes clones of himself to distract you from where he is going to attack you. The good thing is the clones disappear after they either hit you or miss you so you don’t have to worry about them staying around.
The best thing you can do here is to take advantage of him dashing at you with his sword and run from most of his element attacks but guard all ice attacks. You’ll notice that when he uses an unblockable attack, he will keep doing them in an order depending on what move he started the combo with. This is a huge weakness and the best part is if you are really good at parries you can keep deflecting until you stagger him. Fight him smart though and the only time he does not follow up an unblockable attack is if he throws a fireball at you. Master the timings of his unlockable attacks and learn when to parry his swords and fall back. With these things in mind, you won’t have issues fighting the Blindfolded boy.
