In Final Fantasy Resonance, there are going to be exactly 9 summons, or Espers, that you can find throughout the game. Fina is usually the character who summons them, and they will fight with you for 3 turns before fading away. While one Esper is granted in the story, the rest require some looking around. Below is a quick guide to finding every Esper in the game!
1. Siren.
Siren will be given to you for free during the story in Chapter 1. It is a hard fight at your level, so be patient!
2. Ramuh.
Ramuh can be found at the gravestone in the northern part of Mt. Thunderclap. Do not attempt this fight until you are at least level 25!
3. Carbuncle.
Carbuncle can be found in the Ruby Cave after doing the little side quest there.
4. Leviathan.
Leviathan can be acquired after doing the “Nichols Duty” side quest. There is no fight with this Esper outside of the story encounter.
5. Titan.
Titan can be found after talking to the Youth outside of the inn in Grandport. The location will be marked on your map. Please be at least level 30 before taking him on.
6. Shiva.
Shiva can be found in the snowstorm just west of Mysidia. Be at least level 35 when fighting her.
7. Ifrit.
Ifrit can be found similarly to Titan. In Zoldaad, there will be a rumor from a male researcher in the Inn that will mark his location on the map. Be at least level 40 before taking him on.
8. Odin.
Odin is acquired a little differently. You will need to go to the Stelerain Cave in Chapter 6, and you will get the “Iron Splitter” side quest. Simply follow the steps and be at least level 45 before fighting him.
9. Bahamut.
Bahamut is unlocked during the last part of the game. There will be a cutscene that warns you of a deadly force outside of your airship. Speak to Evan to start the battle, and be sure you are level 50 or above before fighting him.
