TennoCon 2023 is happening right now and is celebrating ten years of Warframe during Tennolive. These annual events always focus on what is next for the game in the form of reveals both small and large. Ranging from the Abyss of Dagath, to the lengthy gameplay reveal of Soulframe and Whispers in the Walls for Warframe. But there was one last surprise for players to get excited about, and that was the announcement of Warframe: 1999. A major content update slated for next year, here is what we know from the reveal!
Warframe: 1999 Details
This next content update will take players back to the beginning. It will feature classic hack and slash action from the game. As well as a new character named Arthur who will be in an excalibur looking suit. The soundtrack for this update will also feature a licensed track from Nine Inch Nails called “Into the Void”.
It showed off simplified gameplay, and Albrecht Entrati with his Kavat Kalymos and enemies that have infested bodies with technology of the time.
This next content update will be free for all players. There is no timeframe on when it will launch aside from next year, but players will be able to see more of it at next years TennoCon. You can watch the full reveal here.
