However, it looks like fans of the game will have more to look forward to very soon.

Final Fantasy XVI DLC and PC Port Are On The Way

In a video released by Square Enix across their social media feeds. Final Fantasy XVI producer Naoki Yoshida had some interesting updates in regards to the future of the game. The first and possibly most interesting is that the game will be getting to DLC expansions in the future. While Square Enix never confirmed that XVI would be receiving DLC, in the previous release of the series Final Fantasy XV there was a fair amount of DLC available post-launch. For those looking for more Final Fantasy, this is great news.

There was also an interesting piece of information for non-PlayStation 5 owners as Yoshida confirmed that a PC port of Final Fantasy XVI is currently in the works at the studio. While there is currently no set release date, Yoshida did state that there will be an update on both the DLC and the PC version before the end of the year. This means fans will not have to wait too long to hear more information about these upcoming updates.
