No English Dub At Launch For Like A Dragon: Gaiden

Yesterday, Yakuza voice actor Yong Yea took to X (formerly Twitter) to reveal that the English dub will not be in the game at launch. When the game releases on 11/09/2023 players will only be able to play the game in Japanese with English subtitles. Reportedly the English dub will be available via a post-launch patch. However, there is no official date for this patch yet. While the arguments surrounding sub versus dub rage on within the Yakuza community. It is good that this information was made available ahead of launch, as the lack of a dub version. Could possibly sway some people to hold off on purchasing the title.
