On November 28, 2023, Behaviour Interactive revealed details about their annual Christmas event. During a livestream themed around the new released Killer, The Good Guy (Chucky), community director Eric Pope and senior product manager Justin Banks sat down to discuss the Dead By Daylight upcoming Bone Chill holiday event.

Banks mentioned including snowmen in the game as previous holiday events have done. However, they will be much more lively than before. As Banks stated, “These are snowmen around that map that you can’t actually use, and they love their personal space. So, if you go near them, they will let you know.”
Snowballs, or “snowskulls”, were also mentioned, but Banks has said that their effects will be left for players to discover on their own.
No further details were given as to when the event will start. Although, login bonuses begin on December 1, 2023, and Banks stated the Christmas event will end on the last day of login bonuses. So, it might be safe to assume it will begin the same day as well.
