December Video Games News Roundup – What Did We Cover?
We’ve touched on the Dragon’s Dogma 2 Showcase that went live on November 28th. We went over the Christmas Event for Dead by Daylight. Destiny 2 took up two entries this week. Later on in the week, LOGNET went over the Void Trader Baro Ki’teer, and the official delay for The Final Shape. We also discussed the shutdown of Weta Digital by Unity. The last thing we put to rest was the Xbox is going third party rumor (It’s not).
What Did We Miss?
Here are a few items we couldn’t cover that might be of interest. Skull and Bones received a release date… again. The sextuplet of delays it has received might possibly come to an end on February 16, 2024, as reported by Tom Henderson.
Ubisoft accidentally activated an in-game advertisement for Assassin’s Creed Mirage while you played Assassin’s Creed Odessey. Their response was that this was a technical error.
The highly anticipated Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) is officially dead, according to Jeff Grub. Jason Schrier responded, however, that it is just mostly dead. If only the true love of KOTOR fans will be enough to bring this back from the brink. And if game preservation interests you, check out this article from Lord Eugene.
