Warframe Devshorts 7 Breakdown
At the start of this year, Digital Extremes started a new weekly show called “Devshorts“. This new weekly show is aimed at keeping the Warframe and Soulframe communities up to date with what they are working on. This new show premiers every tuesday, hosted by CEO Steve Sinclair and Creative Director Rebecca Ford. It also only runs for fifteen minutes, and they just wrapped up with the seventh episode today. Here is everything they talked about!
Details from Devshorts 7 for Warframe
This week’s Devshorts were focused on smaller updates from things announced during Devstream 177. Such as the following:
- There was a lot of feedback gathered from the changes for Mirage’s “Eclipse” ability. Originally, it was announced that the percentage for damage dealt and taken depending on the toggle would function similar to how Vex Armor for Chroma works. Now it is going to instead be a total percentage multiplier of the damage you deal and receive. Making the ability as devastating as it was before the toggle being added in Dante Unbound.
- A specific chest cosmetic for Styanax’s Deluxe skin will now have a toggle if you want to remove them.
- In celebration of the Inaros rework for Dante Unbound, they will be looking into adding a sand themed ephemera.
- They explained the meaning behind the Dex suffix for anniversary items. The D comes from Digital, and the EX comes from Extremes.
- The live audience Devstream at PAX East next month will have content shown that players will not want to miss.
- Finally, they talked about their focus on the iOS version of Warframe. They will be working on stability fixes mainly regarding cross save and cross play. They also reiterated that the Android version will be underway once this version is where it needs to be.
But that wraps up this breakdown of Devshorts 7. If you would like to watch the full stream for any minute details, you can do so here.
