At the start of this year, Digital Extremes started a new weekly show called “Devshorts“. This new weekly show is aimed at keeping the Warframe and Soulframe communities up to date with what they are working on. This show premiers every tuesday, hosted by CEO Steve Sinclair and Creative Director Rebecca Ford. It also only runs for fifteen minutes, and they just wrapped up with the eighth episode today. Here is everything they talked about!
Devshorts 8 Breakdown for Warframe
This weeks Devshorts was focused on going over in details past information for Dante Unbound. While also going over some new stuff for both Warframe, and Soulframe:
- Dante Unbound is still slated for this month. They usually give everyone a day in advance notice for launches of updates. So, expect this update not tomorrow as they usually launch on Wednesdays. But on Maybe the 13th or 20th of month.
- They responded to chat questions regarding whether or not new Galvanized mods are in the works. They are not, and there are currently no new plans for new necramechs or the modular archwings they showed off long ago.
- In addition to the new Axi void fissures coming to late game areas in Warframe. It seems as though there will be a new “Omnia” fissure. This fissure will allow you to select from any era of the four relics you have in your inventory to open.

- Steve Sinclair mentioned he does know there are future pieces of content coming to Railjack.
- On the technical side, for DX12 platforms, there are a lot of fixes coming. They mentioned loading will be significantly faster and crashes are being fixed.
- For Soulframe, there are changes coming to the Fae class in the game and DX12 fixes for shaders. Ten-thousand more players will be getting invited to the Preludes soon.
- Saint Patricks Day alerts and cosmetics are live in Warframe right now.
- Finally, they reiterated that Devstream 178 will be streamed live at PAX East this year on the 22nd. TennoCon 2024 Tickets will go on sale March 28th with Digital supporter packs shortly after.
But that wraps up this breakdown of Devshorts 8. If you would like to watch the full stream for any minute details, you can do so here.
