Breakdown of the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Announcement

Players can expect to play again as Henry, voiced by Tom Mckay, similar to the first game. The trailer for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 kicks off with gameplay of a full-scale war, featuring all-new ballistas, with all-new combat and hangings in a forest area of the game. Henry, as well as the rest of the game looks vastly more impressive compared to the original. From updated character models to shots of the beautiful countryside. The game is a looker and will not stray from its RPG standards from the original. As you will have the option to align your actions with four of the following:

  1. Bastard.
  2. Peasant.
  3. Orphan.
  4. And Lover.

All of this is coupled with a narrative focusing on Henry’s adventures after the ending of the first Kingdom Come: Deliverance. The story will still be easy enough for people to understand if they did not play the original game, however. Henry will have to work to take down different kings in their own demesnes and not just bandits. While also becoming a true knight and choosing to either save all of Kuttenberg and beyond or have the choice to destroy it all.

Focus on Immersion

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will also feature a more reactive world and deeper RPG elements. There will be a variety of ways to interact with the world in this game. Whether is sweet talking your way out of a variety of problems. Or becoming a thief and a scoundrel. There will be many paths for you to go down, with subsequent consequences.

It’s not all grit and gruesome, however. As they mentioned if you are having fun getting drunk or disrobed and taking a stroll about the land. NPCs will react accordingly, allowing the world to feel more alive. Jon Valta will also be returning as the game’s composer. This of course can be indicated by the Gregorian chants and serene orchestral score. It all feels like an honest RPG and may have more tricks up its sleeve.

Better Combat and More Varied World

One of the key takeaways from the trailer is the improved combat for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Where you not only get to use a bow and arrow while riding a horse. But it aims to be more historically accurate and may be just as brutal with a harsher learning curve. Every encounter will have a sense of danger and there will be newer ranged weaponry. From proto-type firearms to crossbows, the game will give even players of the original game new challenges to overcome.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will also have an expansive world that will be two times the size of the original game. Filled to the brim with secrets to discover in the wild, teeming with deer and other animals. As well as a variety of biomes not limited to just lush fields of green and other beautiful countryside looks. But darker regions of the game where you can feel the sense of dread that famine and war have brought forth.
