The Lords were live at the Anime NYC Convention show floor. During the convention, Lord Sonic got a closer look at Unwound

Being developed by Wirescribe games, Unwound is a 3D RPG platformer where we play as a ball of yarn. In Unwound, the main character is a ball of yarn that rolls around the world of Candy Island. Players can interact with various NPCs to complete quests and obtain rewards such as currency or more body parts.

While talking to developers from Wirescribe, they mentioned being able to use the limb system for more in-depth mechanics, such as swinging around using string. Games cited as inspiration include the Mario Galaxy and Psychonauts games. Unwound is currently targeting 60 FPS running on the Unity engine. Unwound will launch on Steam in 2025 with console versions still to be announced.
