Marvel Rivals is just around the corner. The game is ready to take a stab at Overwatch 2‘s dominance in the hero shooter genre, where others have failed. No doubt the most enticing feature is the familiar Marvel characters that players will control. This roster is getting larger with Moon Knight set to join the lineup.

Moon Knight Ready to Rival Other Marvel Characters
During Disney’s D23 event held in São Paulo, Brazil, Marvel Games and NetEase Games revealed that Moon Knight will be joining the launch lineup for Marvel Rivals. This new hero shooter allows players to create a constantly evolving team of Super Heroes and Super Villains. As expected in any hero shooter, each character possesses unique abilities, as they engage in combat across a variety of destructible maps inspired by the Marvel Multiverse.
New Music Producer and Arranger Announced
Additionally, the event featured the official announcement of Shota Nakama as the music producer and arranger for Marvel Rivals, alongside Masahiro Aoki, who will serve as the game’s music composer. Nakama is recognized for his contributions to Final Fantasy XV and Made in Abyss, while Aoki is known for his work on Street Fighter V and Bayonetta 3. During his presentation at Brazil D23, Nakama showcased several musical pieces from Marvel Rivals for the audience.
Marvel Rivals launches on December 6, 2024, across all major platforms and will be free-to-play. Best of all, the entire roster will be available from the get-go, avoiding any soul-crushing grind.
