Marking a triumphant return of the NCAA series, EA Sports College Football 25 made a huge splash. It held the number 2 spot on the highest selling video games in the US last year. On top of that, CFB25 is one of the best sports games released last year. In my review of College Football 25 I state. “I can confidently say that CFB25 stands out as one of the best-feeling football games in recent memory”. And since writing the review, I still frequent the game and play with my friends.
EA Games on Game Pass Ultimate
EA has a deal with Xbox which brings over all EA games to Game Pass Ultimate via EA play. But the timing varies between releases. Some of their games come a bit sooner, and some of their games take a little bit longer. But a general rule is about 6-12 months after EA launches a game. Their game will be available on EA play through Game Pass Ultimate.
College Football drops on Game Pass
On March 27th, 2025, about 8 months from the launch of the title. The Xbox social accounts dropped the big news! College Football 25 is available through console and the cloud with Game Pass Ultimate.
This is exciting especially as someone who still plays the ultimate team mode. Overall, more players will be in the player pool to play against. This helps make the lobbies more casual which is a nice change of pace. I highly recommend checking out College Football 25, especially for those patient few who were waiting for it to launch in Game Pass. It also has a fairly easy achievement list to go for as well, for those who love chasing those achievements!
Game Pass has been cooking to start the year off. Every month there is something new to look forward to. With older games dropping into the service such as CFB25, and brand-new day 1 releases such as Atomfall and 33 immortals. It is an exciting time to be a member of the service!
