With the upcoming Techrot Encore update for Warframe arriving in a week’s time, Digital Extremes dedicated their latest episode of Devshorts to some last-minute information before the update goes live the week after. But it was not all Techrot Encore news, there was new announcements and even a tidbit for Soulframe. Hosted as always by the CEO of Digital Extremes, Steve Sinclair, and Creative Director of Warframe, Rebecca Ford, here are the news highlights from the latest episode of Devshorts!

Devshorts 48 Breakdown for Warframe
In this episode of Devshorts, they went over the following:
- They announced the upcoming two Devstreams for both Warframe, and Soulframe. On March 28th, Devstream 186 will go live, going over what to expect after Techrot Encore. As for Devstream 6 for Soulframe, they will be going over what to expect after Preludes 9.
- The 12th anniversary event continues, there are new alerts going live Friday. Bringing with them all new rewards for players to earn for free
- For players of Soulframe, they are implementing something called “Mesh Streaming” to take less VRAM usage off your GPU. This technology should also work for Warframe some day too.
- They are looking into the anti-aliasing technology for the Switch version of Warframe.
- Saryn and Nidus are returning to Prime Resurgence tomorrow, perfect timing for the Saryn Protoframe, Minerva, in Techrot Encore.
- They showed off gameplay for the “Coda Bassocyst” shotgun coming in Techrot Encore. The reticle is custom made to be teeth and will launch a projectile that either explodes when aiming or allow you to perform a finisher if you aim when you fire.
- Finally, while it is not as important as the other news tidbits, there are no news for a Kuva Stug, or a Chroma Rework for the viewers who asked, sadly.
Below will be the stream if you would like to watch for any minute details.
