Madden NFL 20 & Switch both snag July NPD

The latest videogame console and hardware results have arrived courtesy of NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella.

For the month of July, the Nintendo Switch was the best selling console for the month.  While Madden NFL 20 was the best selling software title of July.

Overall sales growth breakdown per July NPD results:

• Total: $762 million (Up from July 2018)
• Hardware: $169 million (Down from $217 million July 2018)
• Software: $340 million (Up from $253 million July 2018)
• Accessories and Game Cards: $254 million (Down from $289 million July 2018)
