Mortal Kombat x Looney Tunes?

In what may be the most bizarre announcement of the day, Ed Boon, Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios behind teased a rather unusual collaboration.

It is much more likely that this is a Mortal Kombat animated series considering the WB Animation logo. This is as opposed to an introduction of Daffy Duck into MK11. However, a Space Jam-esque crossover between the two franchises would certainly be the kind of zany fun that the series is known for.
