As part of the All Digital E3 Replacement Events EA hosted today’s EA Play Live 2020. We have a round-up of all the news from the event today.
- Apex Legends – More content updates for Season 5. Apex will be coming to Switch and Steam soon along with crossplay.
- Sims 4 – Coming to Steam, new content recognizing the LGTBQ+ community soon.
- It Takes Two – A new game from the EA Originals team at Hazelight Studios. The Team behind A Way Out. It Takes Two is a Co-Op Adventure-Platformer set in a dark setting. The game is coming to consoles and PC in 2021.
- Lost In Random – A new indie game from another EA Originals team. Zoink Games will bring their Nightmare Before Christmas-like game to consoles and PC next year.
- Rocket Arena – Another indie title under the EA Originals banner A 3V3 rockets only shooter coming soon. This will be a season based GaaS in the style of Fortnite and Apex.
- Star Wars Squadrons – You will create two pilots under the Empire and the New Republic. From there you can play online in 5v5 battles or through a campaign. The game will be set after Return of the Jedi. The entire game can be played in VR on PC. In addition to PSVR. Star Wars Squadrons releases on 10/2/2020.
- Next Level EA – EA launched a new site to detail how FIFA and Madden 21 will evolve on next-gen platforms. Left from this is the unannounced UFC 4 and NHL 21. You can assume it could be some time before we hear about the next UFC game. In addition to that, we can conclude NHL 21 will not support next-gen consoles.
