Cyberpunk 2077 Delayed Again Until November

Cyberpunk 2077 has already received a couple of delays, pushing the launch date further and further back. CD Projekt Red has always been keen on listening to feedback, and watching what happens in the world to properly co-ordinate the launch of a massive title. The first delay pushed the original April date to September. Now, the September 17th date has been pushed back again as well. This time the new launch date for Cyberpunk 2077 is November 19th. The reason for this delay is understandable. It’s always a good idea to make sure such a high-end game comes out in a high-quality manner. CD Projekt Red is making sure to work on and refine the game, balance it out and crunch numerous bugs.

Cyberpunk 2077 Multiplayer

“At the time we are writing these words, Cyberpunk 2077 is finished both content and gameplay-wise. The quests, the cutscenes, the skills and items; all the adventures Night City has to offer – it’s all there. But with such an abundance of content and complex systems interweaving with each other, we need to properly go through everything, balance game mechanics, and fix a lot of bugs. A huge world means a huge number of things to iron out and we will spend the additional time doing exactly that.”

As much of a bummer it is to see another delay to such a high-profile game, it’s good to know that they are taking all the time needed to make sure the quality is there. You can check out the full statement below.
