What Is the Xbox 25th Anniversary Celebration?
Xbox is expanding its 25th anniversary celebration with new profile designs, curated Xbox Game Pass collections, and a global FanFest tour.
The company’s latest anniversary update also introduces a commemorative Xbox profile badge, which players can claim simply by signing into their account.

Xbox will officially celebrate its 25th anniversary on November 15, 2026. Ahead of that date, Microsoft is releasing a collection of digital items, community events, and Game Pass experiences honoring the company’s history.
Xbox partnered with community creators Klobrille and Ben Kenobi to produce new gamerpics, console backgrounds, and themes. The designs are available now across Xbox consoles and the Xbox app on PC.
Players who sign into their Xbox account through a console, PC, or the Xbox mobile app will also receive a special 25th Anniversary profile badge. The badge will remain available through the end of 2026 and can be displayed on a player’s profile.

Xbox Game Pass Anniversary Collections
Xbox Game Pass is receiving several curated collections built around games from each generation of Xbox hardware.
The collections will include titles associated with the original Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S eras. Microsoft highlighted games such as Fable Anniversary, Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Fallout 4, and Psychonauts 2 as part of the celebration.
Availability will vary between console and PC.
