The Future Of Destiny 2 Will Be Revealed Next Week

The roller coaster that is Destiny 2, is always an interesting thing to observe from the outside looking in. Sometimes big updates are hailed as absolute game changers, while others can completely ruin the game for some. This is the struggle that many live service games are constantly struggling with. From Anthem (RIP) to Division 2, keeping your audience engaged is a challenge. However, nothing gets Destiny 2 fans more excited than an announcement of something new coming to the game soon.

Today, Bungie officially has begun teasing what they call “the next chapter of Destiny 2“. On June 9th, at 9 am PDT Bungie will officially be revealing the upcoming content that will be coming to the game. With many players being at odds with the current direction of the game. It’s certainly not a do or die scenario, however, it is very important that Bungie nails this upcoming reveal. With the next generation on the horizon, it is almost certain that this event could detail what next generation could look like for Destiny 2 players. Will the game benefit from smart delivery on Xbox or from backward compatibility on PS5? It is an exciting time for fans no doubt. Only time will tell what the outcome of this event will be for the long time fans of the series.
