Joel and Ellie Have Been Cast in The Last of Us HBO Show

The cast for the upcoming The Last of Us is starting to fill out. We now have confirmation on who will be playing Ellie and Joel. This show is starting to look like a contender now.

First off, playing the character of Ellie will be Bella Ramsey. We all know who she is if you have watched Game of Thrones. She played the young Lyanna Mormont, who was the first to declare John Snow the King of the North. The role of Joel is going to an actor that has been extremely busy lately. Pedro Pascal will be taking the role of Joel. It was rumored that Mahershala Ali was in talks to play the PlayStation icon. That has since been confirmed as nothing but a rumor. With the casting of Pedro Pascal, the show will defiantly be watched by more than just video game fans. This was an incredibly smart move to get both actors for this show.

With the cast starting to fill out, we should get some sort of production date. The Last of Us will be showing up on HBO. It has not been announced if the show will be on HBO Max or just the HBO channel. Given the popularity of such shows like The Mandalorian and WandaVision, we should see this show on HBO Max.

Pedro Pascal will be losing one of his castmates from the upcoming season of The Mandalorian. On Wednesday, it was announced Gina Carano will no longer be playing any character in the Star Wars universe.
