E3 was packed with big announcements from some of the biggest publishers in the games industry. We have a pretty good roadmap for what the remainder of this year will look like in terms of game releases. While PlayStation remains a wild card to whether or not we will have an event from them sooner or later, we do have an event coming soon to look forward to. The EA Play Live will be coming to us live on July 22nd, featuring a variety of their biggest games as well as a handful of unannounced projects. However, it was revealed today, that there will be one studio that we will not see at EA Play Live this year.

Today, in a tweet from the official Bioware Twitter account it was revealed that the company will not be showcasing any of its projects at the event. Stating that they are hard at work on the future installments of both Mass Effect and Dragon Age.  While many fans are eager to hear updates about these upcoming games, it is clear that it will be a while before we see more from either of these projects. With the success of the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, there are more people than ever that are eager for a new installment in the franchise. However, Bioware should take all the time they need with both Dragon Age and Mass Effect as fan expectations are incredibly high. We will just have to wait patiently for a new update from Bioware in regards to these games. I am sure when Bioware has something worthwhile to share, that they will certainly be showcasing it.
