Register for a Chance to Get a PlayStation 5

Currently is it extremely difficult to find a PlayStation 5 or Xbox Seris X/S. Sony is looking to help out those gamers that have yet to grab a PS5. Those gamers include me and a few others who would do just about anything to finally get a new console. That includes registering for a chance to get one this winter. Now, that is exactly what Sony is doing today.

Players will be able to register to get the chance to grab a Playstation 5 console. That includes the disc or digital versions. You can click this link to get that opportunity.

This coming Holiday season, we will have a limited amount of PS5 Consoles available for customers in the US to purchase direct from PlayStation.

One thing we all need to realize is that this does not guarantee anyone a console. Players will be given a time to purchase the console along with any extra items they may need. That includes controllers or headsets. Players should start to see the registration emails around November. If you do not get one, that just means you were not picked.

Just because this new opportunity is happening does not mean you have to stop looking out for a console. The best case is that players will be able to find one before they get an email and won’t need to do this. That could free up a spot for another gamer to get their PlayStation 5. However, given ongoing global supply chain issues, any chance to get one is one that should be taken.
