Splash Damage Is Working On A New Sci-Fi IP

The gaming industry has been on a consistent trend upwards over the past few years, growing especially quickly during the COVID-19 pandemic. While some publishers and developers have begun to lean heavily on their already established IP to coast safely to larger growth. There are still studios that are constantly evolving and wanting to create new and unique IPs. One such studio is Splash Damage, as the studio is currently gearing up for an all-new project.

In an official blog post released early this morning, Splash Damage revealed that they are currently developing a brand new Sci-Fi IP. For those that are not familiar with Splash Damage’s work, they have done a wide variety of work with their own developed IP as well as other publishers’ IPs. They have been essential partners in developing games such as Gears Tactics, Batman Arkham Origins, and even Halo: MCC. They have also created their own unique games such as Brink, Outcasters, and Dirty Bomb. Splash Damage had very little to say about their upcoming unnamed game, other than they were looking to fill a wide variety of roles on the team for this project. The game is undoubtedly in its infancy, but it is exciting to know a general idea of what this talented studio will be doing in the future. Now we will just have to wait and see what the team is working on.
