Sifu Fans Left Frustrated by Unexplained Delays to Early Access
Action brawler, Sifu, is one of the most hotly anticipated titles of the year. Unfortunately, those who have purchased the deluxe edition were left incredibly frustrated by delays to the game’s early access launch earlier today.
Sifu Delay Addressed
Purchasing the Deluxe Edition from the PlayStation store for either PS4 or PS5 was meant to grant players the ability to play the game 48 hours before the standard version releases.
However, the pre-load, which was meant to begin on February 4, never happened. This caused some to believe there was an issue.
Developer Sloclap’s Twitter account posted the following message yesterday:
We are aware that there are issues preventing the download of Sifu through the early access on the PlayStation store, and are very sorry for the inconvenience. We're looking into it with PlayStation to fix it asap, and will update you on the situation very soon!

No further update has been given. Gamers patiently waited until the countdown clock reached zero, thinking the download would commence then.
Unfortunately, though, this failed to materialize. The download clock is now stuck at zero (and has been for approximately 90 minutes), and the game has not yet started to download at all for Playstation users.
