The Last Oricru PC Demo Now Available on the Steam Next Festival
Developers GoldKnights announced the first public PC demo of its upcoming third-person action RPG, The Last Oricru. The demo will be available on the Steam Next Festival that will run from February 21-28.
The Last Oricru Demo Now Available
TLO is an action RPG that emphasizes player choices and dynamic storytelling. Players wake up in a fascinating world known as Wardenia. This planet beautifully combines Sci-Fi and Medieval settings simultaneously. Wardenia is ravaged by a brutal civil war, as warring factions fight for supremacy of the planet.
The Last Oricru consists of tough combat, massive fights, and a dark conspiracy that overshadows the once so peaceful area. Players can choose their own path. They can side with the different factions or betray them, influencing the outcome of the war.
The game is designed as both a single-player and a coop experience. The public PC demo will contain the first two areas of the game. It’ll give players a taste of the plot-changing decisions that is one of the key features of the game. However, the demo will only feature offline couch coop, while a full online coop will be available with the game’s release.

Be sure to check out the latest Developer Diary from GoldKnights. The episode does in-depth about the game’s coop system.
The Last Oricru is considered Souls-like title, due to its combat system that provides players with a hefty challenge. Luckily, it is a bit more forgiving, especially when it comes to checkpoints. Either way, the branching storylines should make playthroughs unique to every player. The game is a AA title, but even games within this caliber provide gems that are rough around the edges.
The Last Oricru will release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2022.
