Usually, on the Epic Games Store, you would know what free games you can claim bi-weekly. But they decided to start keeping the free games a mystery until the week of. Last week, gamers could have enjoyed Jotun Valhalla Edition, Prey, and Redout: Enhanced Edition. It was quite the unique bundle but this week’s free game is quite a big game to enjoy.

Epic Games Store Freebie 5/19-5/26

The game you can pick up for free on the Epic Games Store is Borderlands 3, developed by Gearbox Software. This is the fourth entry in the long-time running looter-shooter series. It did falter in the story but the upgrades to the gameplay were excellent. With so many guns to find and so much to do, it was a great entry.

The original shooter-looter returns, packing bazillions of guns and an all-new mayhem-fueled adventure! Blast through new worlds and enemies as one of four brand new Vault Hunters – the ultimate treasure-seeking badasses of the Borderlands, each with deep skill trees, abilities and customization. The game on the Epic Games Store also has a season pass bundle that contains all of the DLC to date for $23. If you claim the game and buy the season pass bundle you will be saving overall $76. Just for using the launcher. Remember that all games claimed for free will be yours to keep so long as you have access to the account you use. Next week’s free game will be a mystery as well. But considering this week’s game was a big title, the upcoming game should be pretty exciting.
