In a recent announcement from Airship Syndicate. It has been confirmed that the next closed beta for Wayfinder. As well as its early access launch has been delayed. The next closed beta will be moved to May 10th while the early access launch will be moved to sometime this summer. Here are all the details attached to the announcement.
Wayfinder Beta/Early Access Delay Details
In a post on the official Wayfinder website, they had this to say about the delay:
With all the excellent feedback we have received from you, the community, we decided we need more time to polish the game and add new community requested features to give you the best experience possible for our biggest Beta yet.
This delay is strictly for quality assurance purposes. As well as ensuring that more features can be added to the next beta. They also went over some details regarding the Founders Pack:
A full rundown of Founder’s Packs content and prices will be revealed closer to Early Access. We plan to offer these packs throughout the entire life of Early Access, allowing players to upgrade when they see fit, giving you plenty of time to make your purchase decisions.
Wayfinder will be launching for the PlayStation 4|5, and Steam. So players of the platforms should keep their eyes peeled when early access launches this summer. It is unknown if and when Wayfinder launches on other platforms if there will be a version of the founder’s pack to buy. If you would like to read the full announcement, you can do so here. Today through their official Twitter page. Airship Syndicate has delayed the next closed beta to May 24th. This delay was due to unforeseen server issues as they aim for this beta to be a global release. All of their details can be found here.
