How To Unlock The GS Magna In Modern Warfare 2

Season 3 Reloaded has added 2 new guns as well as a new lethal to Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2. As always, with these new weapons added you will have to complete challenges in order to unlock them. While you may be able to escape with them to unlock them in a round of DMZ. It is often much quicker to simply complete the challenges that these weapons are hidden behind. In this guide, I will break down the fastest way to unlock this fully automatic monster of a handgun.

How To Quickly Complete The Challenge?

The 50 GS or better known as the Desert Eagle is a heavy-duty handgun in Modern Warfare 2. It packs quite a punch and can easily two-shot enemies at close range or one shot if you manage to hit a headshot. The biggest challenge with the Desert Eagle is the massive recoil after every shot. Certain grips will certainly help to control the massive recoil but in the end, it will come down to your raw ability to hit headshots. At close range headshots do happen quite frequently, but in a standard map how often do you manage to get close?

You can undoubtedly unlock the GS Magna by running through a variety of different maps via Quick Play. But there is a much quicker way to get up close and personal to get the headshots you need quite quickly. Simply queue up “Shoot The Ship” which will rotate a variety of different game modes through both maps Shoothouse and Shipment. You can certainly get headshots on Shoothouse, but what you really will want is Shipment. Thanks to its close-quarters nature, it only took me around 3 matches to get all 30 headshots. It is especially easy if you get objective-focused modes like Hardpoint or Domination. So load up your favorite 50 GS loadout and go get those headshots.
