In The Duviri Paradox there are four pools of Intrinsics to progress through. There are Combat, Riding, Opportunity and Endurance Intrinsics to unlock. Each school focusing on key elements of the gameplay experience in Duviri. With each school having many tiers to unlock new passives to enhance your experience. As such there are some choices players will have to make when unlocking them. But which ones will be the best to go for first and why?
The Duviri Paradox Best Intrinsics to Focus on Getting
For starters, you will want to focus on maxing out each pool in this order: Combat, Endurance, Opportunity then Riding. This is to ensure you are more combat capable to start off with before going for more niche upgrades in The Duviri Paradox. Reason being that both the normal and Steel Path versions of The Duviri Experience and Lone Story. But you are going to be replaying this combat quite a lot, so you will have plenty of intrinsics to spend on upgrades. As such, here are some key upgrades you need to get before maxing out Combat or whichever you choose:

Lucky Opener will give you a free decree to start your journey alongside the previous upgrades.
Riding Rank 5
Smooth Path will ensure you always see materials to gather. These are essential to crafting the new melee weapons outside of Duviri.
Endurance Rank 3
Determination will give you one more to survive the main and side objectives of The Duviri Paradox.
Obviously you should focus on the aforementioned Intrinsics path. But these upgrades will help you on your journey outside of the essential upgrades. Everything beyond the ranks in Opportunity and Riding feel more niche and will be a waste of Intrinsics. However, if you feel some of the upgrades like naming your horse or being able to cycle through Decrees multiple times, feel free to do so.
