TennoCon 2023 is happening right now and is celebrating ten years of Warframe during Tennolive. These annual events always focus on what is next for the game in the form of reveals both small and large. One such announcement during this event was the Abyss of Dagath Update that will launch in October of this year. Here is everything we learned during the stream!
All Details on the Abyss of Dagath Update for Warframe
This update will happen in tandem with the game’s Halloween event, Nights of Naberus. This will also bring with it a whole slew of quality-of-life updates. As well as the next warframe, Dagath. Her story will be told through Grandmother on Deimos through a new Naberus tale. For those unfamiliar, Kaelli will sell a ship decoration during the Nights of Naberus that tell a spooky story. Dagath will come with a blade and whip signature melee weapon to earn alongside her. As well as a new Dojo room that is themed around Dagath.
In this same update, reworks will finally come to companions in the game. This will focus on removing permadeath and bleed out states from Kubrows, Kavats and Sentinels. This will instead focus on a cooldown system on companions in general to ensure they stick around. Killing enemies will decrease the cooldown to ensure they return quicker. Another rework is coming for Hydroid, this rework will fundamentally change the warframe to function easier and include a new ability and passive. Yareli will also be getting a small rework. They will also be making optimizing quests and increasing focus acquisition. There will also be an auto-melee option and increasing enemy visibility.
This update will also feature backend files to prepare for the launch of Cross Save this year. A highly anticipated feature that will allow players to play wherever and whenever they want. This was shortly announced after the rest of the update details in TennoCon 2023.
More details on Abyss of Dagath will be revealed in next months Warframe Devstream and Lords of Gaming will be there to cover it all!
