Wayfinder: How to Complete the Old Kite Questline

Wayfinder has a lot of cooperative activities. Such as Expeditions, a three player procedurally generated dungeon run. However in each of these expeditions, there can be multiple side quests to do in them. For example, in The Pit, you can encounter an NPC called “Old Kite”. He will offer you two separate side quests to complete. Here is a short and handy guide on how to complete them.

Quick and Easy Guide for Old Kite in Wayfinder

As mentioned previously, you will have to find and talk to Old Kite in The Pit expedition. The first quest he offers you is to defeat a boss called “The Chemist” in The Pit. However, to do so you will need a few things in Wayfinder:

  1. Any Rifle weapon. You can buy “Ransom” early on from Arsenal in the main player hub.
  2. And a Toxic Imbuement.

I recommend going on sphere 1 to blitz through the activity. Use the gun to kill the mushrooms and enemies either solo or with a group. The Chemist will show up a waypoint guaranteed. After you take down the boss either solo or with a group, turn in the quest and accept the next one. He will then ask you to defeat a foe called The High Roller. You will only need a Greed Imbuement and you can use whichever weapon you would like.

Similar to The Chemist, you will see him as a waypoint, so just take him down as you progress through The Pit. But this is how you finish both of the side quests from Old Kite in Wayfinder. I hope this guide helped you.

After unlocking the Bloodworks, Old Kite will offer you three more side quests to do, here is how to complete them easily.

  • Mad Bomber: Simply go to the Bloodworks with the Chaos imbuement. Make sure to go in with a group and stay moving so the bombs do not destroy you.

  • Pyro Betrayer: Simply go to the Bloodworks with the Solar Imbuement. Make sure you are with a group and try not to get hit as the burns will kill you.

  • Finally, the Gloomtouched Betrayer: Go to the Bloodworks with the Shadow Imbuement. You can do this solo, but I do recommend going in with a group.

After completing each of the side quests however, you will have to backtrack to Old Kite in The Pit. But after finishing these quests, he will start handing out a very unrewarding repeatable side quest, skip it.
