Warframe: An Easy Hydroid Build

The Abyss of Dagath update for Warframe changed a lot of the game’s content. From cohesion for stats in the game, to making companions viable. This update did a great job at revitalizing the core content. This revitalization also extended to Hydroid, a warframe that has seen so little use outside of farming resources. Digital Extremes completely reworked his kit to fall in line with the meta, and as such you will need a new and easy build to make his kit work for you.

An Easy Hydroid Build in Warframe

Below is the build I found to be useful for activities stretching to Steel Path and even Sorties:

The 75% efficiency build with a focus on range allows you to upkeep the new ability “Plunder”. As well as cast his first and fourth abilities consistently and cover a large area of foes. Molt efficiency coupled with Arcane Aegis really helps to make up for the duration lost in the overall build. But if you do not have either arcane, I do recommend getting red archon shards and stacking duration with those shards instead. Finally, depending on what activity you are doing, go for Viral Tempest, as it helps immensely with the new armor stripping. Or go for Pilfering Swarm if you still need to farm resources. But this is the best build I found for Hydroid as I went about my testing in the new update in Warframe. He has improved immensely, and I can only hope this build helps you on the road ahead!
