Last week, we covered the news that Larian Studios was busy at work optimizing Baldur’s Gate 3 for the Xbox Series S console. The studio showed off reductions in VRAM needed for the port. This set fire to speculation that a Baldur’s Gate 3 Xbox announcement would be coming soon. Larian Studios today announced when we would know more.
Xbox users will not have to wait much longer courtesy of a tweet posted by Larian Studios, creators of the Game of The Year nominee. Reassurance was given to Xbox gamers that the game is on track to be released by the end of December. An official release date announcement trailer will be screened at the 2023 Game Awards. The Game Awards will be streamed live on December 7th, 2023.
