Returnal Game Director Leaving Housemarque

Harry Krueger, Game Director for Returnal, announced his decision to leave Finnish game studio Housemarque. He had been with the company for fourteen years.  Returnal put the studio on the map for many gamers in 2021. Though never fun to see talented people leaving a studio, Harry seems to be departing on friendly terms.

Housemarque itself is working on an as of yet unnamed project. The video game studio, Finland’s longest-running, has been around for over twenty-five years. Although losing a game director is never easy, they surely have the tools to continue making excellent games for us fans. After all, at Housemarque “Game is King.”
