This poem is dedicated to those who feel lost, empty even. Those people who stare out into the heavens and embrace curiosity at every turn, the dreamers and explorers who teach us new things. The artists who make life worth living, and to you who took the time to read this. Please know that I consider you to be a close friend, family even.
Into the Starfield
Gazing outward
Towards the Blackest Sea.
In search of wealth
Or glimpses of glory
I found you…
A dreamer, a seeker,
And most importantly,
A Kindred spirit.
Molded from stardust.
Animated by curiosity.
Yet bound by love.
You and I.
Two explorers
Charting space
With beating hearts,
Open minds,
And joyful souls.
Assured that neither
Star nor satellite.
Can split us;
A constellation of two
Apart.
