Warframe: Ruvox Build and Impressions

Dante Unbound has only been out for a little under a week, and there was a lot of cool stuff added. From the unbelievably strong warframe, Dante, to a cool new melee weapon called Ruvox. Ruvox is the signature weapon for Dante and is one of the first new Incarnon weapons. Personally, while it does dish out a good amount of damage and also having a cool gimmick. It just does not do enough to really feel exciting. But let’s go over the build first before jumping into more details on it.

Ruvox Build in Warframe

Below are the mods, Tennokai and Arcane choices I made:

For the Incarnon Evolutions, I went with just middle options for all four:

The reason being is that since Ruvox’s gimmick of being able impale enemies with a heavy ground slam. It leaves so few options to build around with the evolutions outside of the final one. I went for a radiation and corrosive build with plenty of critical chance and damage for Tennokai. Arcane animosity also ensures that every Tennokai nearly gives off a red crit, while stripping just enough armor with corrosive status effects.

For my thoughts on Ruvox in Warframe. Honestly, compared to the two other melee Incarnons in the Zariman? It is more useful and stands out, but it just is not that exciting to use. Especially when advertised as the signature melee weapon for Dante, who is extremely more exciting to use. The impalement feature is great, but the general stats feel underwhelming and going into the Incarnon mode knocks down a lot of attack speed which is never good. My build does work in general activities, but it does not function so well in endgame content. Such as Archon Hunts, or Netracells. It is worth getting and using, just know it is very limited power wise.

But these are my thoughts and build for Ruvox in Warframe. I hope this helps you, Tenno!
