Wayfinder has left early access on October 21st last year. Ending a full run of several updates, business model changes and fundamental game design choices revisited. It has been a very trying time for Airship Syndicate since early access launched in 2023 originally as an MMORPG and now being an incredible ARPG across Steam and PlayStation 5. With all of this being said, to round out the availability of the game, Airship Syndicate announced yesterday that Wayfinder will be making its way to Xbox Series X|S on January 28th. Here is what you need to know about the game!

Everything You Need to Know About Wayfinder

Wayfinder is an action RPG, with stamina, potions, blocking, abilities and a lot of stat systems layered onto one another. There are various weapons and classes. Such as shield and swords, shotguns, heavy blades and daggers with crazy versions of each. Like a greatsword that cleaves the earth to summon lava in a straight line, or a rifle that shoots an anchor to weigh enemies down so you can deal more damage to them.

There are also 7 wayfinders, who are characters that have their own unique abilities. Like Niss who has shadow themed abilities and Grendel who can stun enemies and do sweeping area-of-effect attacks. For fans of the ARPG genre, there are multiple tiers of customization for everything. From the echoes that can pivot stats in favorable directions, to skill trees that offer unique build possibilities, and an affinity system that allows certain stats to be boosted depending on what equipment you have available.

Wayfinder has dozens of unique bosses, multiple huge locations, tons of side quests and variety in enemies, from goblins and bandits to giant spiders, bears and mystical golems. There is a lot of fun to get out of this game at its low price of $24.99 USD. You can find the Xbox store page for Wayfinder here.
