D&D fans rejoice, Resolution Games just unveiled a new sneak peek of Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons Battlemarked! A freshly released video showcases its immersive D&D setting while offering the first look at gameplay. The game is set to launch later this year on multiple platforms, including PlayStation, Steam, and Meta Horizon, where players can already add it to their wishlist. Battlemarked was announced in January and is now expected to launch later this year.
Demeo x Dungeons and Dragons Battlemarked Slated for Late 2025 Release
According to Tommy Palm, CEO of Resolution Games, Battlemarked elevates storytelling within the Demeo Action Roleplaying System. Battlemarked provides deeper player choices, dramatic cutscenes, and enriched dialogue. This collaboration ensures that D&D’s narrative-driven experience shines through in gameplay.
Leading the narrative design is industry veteran Matt Sernett, a veteran D&D creator who previously contributed to Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, and Destiny 2. The first adventure in Battlemarked transports players to Neverwinter Wood, featuring Cragmaw Castle and Mount Hotenow—locations familiar to longtime D&D enthusiasts.
Developer Diaries and More to be Revealed Later this Year

Demeo players can look forward to exploring Battlemarked on Steam and PlayStation 5, with a VR experience coming to PlayStation VR2, Steam VR, and Meta Quest 3. Additional details on launch, platforms, and the second adventure debuting at release will be revealed later this year. Resolution Games also plans to release more developer diaries offering an in-depth look into the world-building, storytelling, and integration of classic D&D elements into the Demeo system.
