Warframe: Scyotid Build and Review

Secondary weapons in Warframe can be hit or miss, depending on what you are looking for in them. But one thing stays consistent, their damage output and reliability – even the Riot-848 in Techrot Encore was very strong, despite its gimmick not impressing me. But with Oraxia’s signature secondary in Isleweaver? The Scyotid makes for one of, if not the best, secondary weapon we have gotten in a very long time. It is fast, deadly, and very reliable, especially with the right build we have on offer for you!

Scyotid Build in Warframe

Below will be our recommended build for Scyotid, but keep in mind this will cost you at least 4 forma:

Warframe Scyotid Build

While it always seems like a good idea to spend a slot on a critical chance mod, the Scyotid has a lot of multishot you can amplify with Lethal Torrent and Galvanized Diffusion to make Secondary Enervate a replacement for that idea. Secondary Enervate guarantees orange and red critical hits over time with sustained fire. So, going for more critical damage mod focuses is a better idea. With Corrosive being my damage type of choice for armored enemies. You can replace Quickdraw if you would like to, but I found the faster reload really important for hectic firefights.

But how does the Scyotid actually perform in Warframe?

Scyotid Review

No sugarcoating, no gaslighting, simply put, the Scyotid is incredible. It does seem like another rapid-fire weapon that can be bland after a while. However, its alternate fire, having the ability to group up enemies and stun them for a second, made going into endgame activities fun, as I can just hold down the trigger and see entire mobs vanish before my eyes. You owe it to yourself to grind out the Scyotid; it will make a powerful ally in your arsenal alongside Oraxia, Tenno.
