When it comes to most updates with new warframes and weapons added, there is always a synergy issue with some of the combos. Back in Koumei and the Five Fates, Koumei came with two admittedly fun weapons, but very synergy was included in the combo. But with Isleweaver? That changed immensely. As Oraxia came with two weapons, and her melee weapon works hand-in-hand with Oraxia’s poisonous draw in deadly ways. This new whip in Warframe, is fun and can wreak havoc, even in the endgame. Here is a great build to guide you in the right direction.
Spinnerex Build in Warframe
Below is our recommended build for the Spinnerex, which you will need 2 forma for:

Using gas is a good choice for this build. Considering its unique trait triggers poison explosions similar to Oraxia’s ultimate for guns. Utilizing Galvanized Elementalist and Nira’s Contempt is great for more damage output as well. With Melee Exposure adding a great boost to its damage with Corrosive, that is very good for armored foes. But the thing that makes this all click together is Proton Snap. Where latching onto a wall for a few seconds adds more toxin damage and status chance, which, considering Oraxia’s ultimate to latch onto walls and turn invisible, is a great synergy.
But how does this build play out in Warframe overall?
Spinnerex Review
During the Galleon of Ghouls event, I was pretty disappointed in the Tak & Lug and the Tonkkatt. This was mostly due to the very situational, unique traits. But the Spinnerex has a unique trait that really helps it stand out. The poison bomb build-up makes it useful in any frame’s hands. I think that its general damage output is a little lacking, but it makes me happy seeing something fresh and exciting in the melee weapon space. This whip is definitely worth going for in Warframe!
